Anyone who actually watched the game knows that. I think majority of the people coming out trying to defend Herbert talking about "the line! he got sacked so many time! " are people who just looked at the sack highlights or stats. He wouldnt throw to wide open receivers and when he did throw to wide open receivers it would be under thrown or overthrown.

They were bad chargers often had 6-7 guys in pass pro 3 out running routes. Herbert was bad finding some open guys tho but the line wasnt good which is why they had to keep so many people in. The average tt is high because he had 7 guys in which means 3 guys running routes who cant get open.

Even this one they had 7 guys blocking one on a delay curl. This isnt sustainable lol. He should have found mcconkey though. With that said Herbert has to be better but I only think 2-3 guys probably win that game last night

I'll rep you because you've been more then fair considering Allen is your guy and you could crush him, but Stroud does have a better defense. Khalil Mack is not like that anymore.

IF the bears play your team the 49ers in an NFC Championship game, you'll pick your team but you will pause if Caleb is on the other side. You probably wouldn't for Herbert (or Hurts, you did that already).

Assuming they have the same squad, I'm just as nervous, if not more, with Herbert on the other side. Herbert is basically on Peyton Manning's path right now. 0-3 in the playoffs entering age 28 year with one of those Ls being a horrible performance, regular season warrior with disappointing postseason results, questions about whether they can ever get over the hump. Caleb is having his first good season right now, and he's green. I hope he turns into a monster, but it's too early to be crowning dude because his team won one playoff game. Let him cook a little.
