The guy is a legend, whether you like him or not.
Has nothing to do with his skin color.. His albums have not stood the test of time, IMO (I barely hear his songs on the radio). We will see if he ever gets inducted into anything or given some special award where younger artists salute his contribution to music... once that happens then I’ll acknowledge him being a legend, but right now... he’s just an artist with a few hits....

Bullshyt. I hear his songs on the radio every fukking day at work. On the oldies station that plays "classics" his shyt is getting played with Michael Jackson, Prince, Fleetwood Mac, The Whispers, The Gap Band, Eagles, Rick James and shyt. If you don't think he's a legend you're out of touch.

The 20/20 Experience had some nice songs on it. "Drink You Away" is probably one of the best songs he's ever recorded.
I don't know any songs off Man of the Woods, I just remember the tracklist coming out and everybody shytting on it. Talking about it sounds like he's gearing up to shoot a Wrangler commercial with Brett Favre.
He usually takes several years to come out with his next album so you can tell he's trying to make people pretend Man of the Woods never happened.

Its Crazy how we had radio stations actually playing a lil nas x-less version of old town road but this nikka get to flip flop between black n cac culture with no resistance. it’s crazy that I only heard the original version of Old time road on the radio. The rap stations I listened to never played the remix. I was actually surprised by that.

I wish I could find my old post where I broke down this culture vulture’s history. I was barely a teenager but even I could see through the blatant pandering with that video. I told my friends he would never have a black woman in his video again after that. He got his “hood pass”.I remember his first single, and how people were hyping it up, especially because he had a black model in the video.
