The one with big daddy Kane I hated the horn player. I was mad annoyed by his renditions.I’m kind of in the same boat, but they’ve had a handful that i like. I just appreciate that npr has always shown appreciation and respect for hip hop and rap. Our local station always has great musical interludes between their programming and often plays lots of local musicians too. Whoever runs their music dept definitely has an ear to the streets.
