You would prob have to pay a lot of money. There was prob 40 people there lol
Yea, it was a little bit over that. My homie Vicki works there and she's told us that there have been folks try to bribe her thousands of dollars to get them in the building to see one of their favorite artist. Apparently they're real strict on who has access to the bldg on those days

Edit: I wish he would've performed "Bounce (for the Juvenile)" just one time

This was dope. I always thought Set It Off was dope as fukk and should have been bigger.

Surprised he didn’t do Follow Me Now. That would have been perfect with the horns.

Incredible.

People might not have realized these songs would end up having staying power, but these songs are staples and will always keep money in Juvie's pockets.

I live in a somewhat small city and I would love for us to be able to book him for a show on the lake. He'd turn this muthafukka OUT.
400 Degrees is a top 20 rap album. Puffy told him that every cut should've been a single.

I was hoping he'd do Solja Rag

TLDR: Look at me, emotional.

Here is the only place I can really write this. The few people I know that really followed the OG CMR run, I don't talk to as often now.

Man this brought me back. What a time. High school years. Posted this before but in Canada it was hard as hell getting any of the CDs until well after they were released and then had a crazy markup due to the Universal deal. Bought them years later but had to grab everything off 0-sec/0-day FTPs and shyt from mIRC chatrooms. I got every release, and then double backed and get all the pre-CMR/Universal albums from like BG True Stoyz and onwards.

Anywho seeing this happen 20+ years later was :wow: It's like Juvie and Manny didn't miss a beat. Almost didn't realize what a great MC Juvie is too, had everyone engaged, was funny, clear on the mic, entertaining. I don't think I've ever seen a Tiny Desk where they cut to the crowd like that, especially the end. Shoutout to the NPR employee CAC in the front singing to slow motion :dead:

Best part about finally watching this in full is my 11 month old was beside me eating his lunch :mjcry: It's like damn I was 17 bopping all these CMR CDs and now 38 (:flabbynsick) and he's here watching it and was dancing in his high chair :mjcry: My 3 old girl isn't into my music (too hooked on that Sing movie stuff :pachaha:) - I'll get her into it eventually.

If I could go back in time for any music event it would have to be March 16 1999 when they came to Toronto for that Ruff Ryders/Cash Money event. Might be the only time the entire group was here before the breakups would follow.

Glad he shouted out Turk. Didn't know his verse on I Need a Hot Girl inspired Juvie for Project Chick. Always wished someone did a mixup adding Juvie in the song though, all it was missing. Need the OG squad back together. Free BG.

/End rant :mjcry:
