He's friends with Bun B and Face as well I think, he does bring up the jail stint a lot but Combat can't relate on that level because he was a lawyer so Pete connects on that level as well. I don't think he should bring it up as much as he does tho lol

He only brings it up if the guest mentions prison. Pete and Kevin Gates back and forth about prison was a classic moment

As New Yorkers from that generation its pretty obvious cause that's the first time most of them heard him or that style of music in general excluding Master P (of course). Same thing with UKG, before the internet and downloading people didn't really pay attention to people who weren't from their region or on TV/Radio.
