Juve was way ahead of his time. Didn't cater to any trends, just loved his NO roots and had that ragga n bounce flavor on his first 3 CMR albums. Didn't need to be a lyrical myrycle to be a beast on the mic, his shyt came across precisely with simple words n descriptions, hardhittin' with different flows n cadences, could work with any type of beat. A true MC actually. Some eastcoast elitist fukkups just couldn't stomach No Limit n Cash Money opening up the floodgates back then, straight jealous ass hoes

BG albums before CMR blew up nationwide were RAW, no compromises n brutally honest. Dude was in his teen years and spittin' hard gutter shyt

It's scary how good he was back then man, a mere teenager sounding like a grown ass man tearing Mannie Fresh beats up...B.G. needs a separate appreciation thread, he to this day has the best Cash Money affiliated discography out of anyone, period.

Got both versions of 400 Degreez. It's funny b/c I remember when it first dropped no one was really fukkin with it but then it got re-released with the extra tracks (Follow Me Now, both Ha Remixes and they took off Soulja Rags) when Back That Azz Up took off. Album blew up. Ha got people talking but Back That Azz Up just became something else. I actually prefer Soulja Rags over this re-release everyone loves. The original was better but I get it they had to make them moves being on a major. One of the best songs ever was Who's The MF. Just everyday shyt and the stress of living broke and poor trying to survive. The flow switch on the last verse...:banderas:

Advance had 187 feat BG (got used later on for a compilation iirc), Cash Money Gorilla feat Big Tymers, and the original UPT version (Slangn That Iron)
