These actors post these residuals all the time for show imo, knowing damn well most of their money is up front and with the knowledge that streaming residuals ain’t the same as TV used to pay.
I used to work in accounting in tv and film.
Normally we would send their paycheck for two episodes ($15k-$40k for main/recurring cast) to their agent or management and they’d take their fee and then pay the actor. I worked on a show with a Destiny’s Child
member. She ALWAYS picked up her check in the office and then paid her management their fee, “I WANT MY MONEY FIRST”
