Wow I didn't know that. I didn't realize he toured nationwide off that song and he was 16, that's crazy. And yeah I heard, it was him and the orginal Geto Boys? Probably spelt Ghetto Boys back then lol.

"Rockin' it, recorded by a group of teenagers who called themselves Real Chill. Real Chill members K-Rino, Timothy Hood (G.T.) and James Connor (Preppy Jay) were South Park residents and Sterling High School students. "Rockin' It" also had and electro-hop sound, but it's content was reminiscent of Run-DMC's "Sucker MCs" K-Rino, G.T. and Preppy Jay traded lyrics between bars boasting about their lyrical dexterity, their skillful ability to "rock a mic". "Rockin' It" did not garner many record sales, but according to K-Rino, it was played on Kidz Jamm and allowed the group to travel around the country to perform while they were still in High School"...

Interesting, what a huge career. Any word on new K-Rino albums? I know he drops a lot of ish lol. K's a good brother, had a lot of dealings with different MC's and K's always been very very cool and humble.

:manny:

Probably the longest stretch in a while that he's went without dropping any new material.

He's been doing alot of shows lately, maybe he's been too busy to record any new tracks. He puts alot of thought into his music, so i'm sure unless he has the time to sit back and put together a quality product, he would prefer not to drop anything at all.

for me:

Triple Darkness Vol 1
Time Traveler
Book Number 7
Danger Zone
Triple Darkness Vol. 2

Decent list :ehh:

No Stories from the Black Book though :dahell:

Yeah, you'd imagine as he's getting bigger and bigger he's even more busy. Am definitely looking forward to new music whenever it does come now. He's doing well.

I personally enjoyed this run, I think this was an amazing run...

  • 2010: Annihilation Of The Evil Machine [27]
  • 2011: Alien Baby [28]
  • 2011: The Day Of The Storm [29]
  • 2012: Deeper Elevation [30]
  • 2012: 80 Minute Eternity [31]
  • 2013: The Maven [32]
  • 2013: TheRAPeutic[33]

So if I had to recommend I'd go from there. But that's my own personal taste, I just thought the consistency was very high on these albums.

Very hard question bro, cause he's got MAD albums that are very different. Who are some of your favourite MC's? Will give me an idea what you might like...
