All of his albums are good, at some point or in some way. He's like canibus in a way, your either going to love em, or hate em.

He's been around for like what, 20 years now? Any true hip hop head knows him, and thats perfectly fine in his book. He's not a sell out.

Hes def one of the best ever lyrically...just sometimes his delivery gets real annoying to me, idk why.

You know I think a few true Hip Hop heads don't know him, most true heads in the south know him though.

I think he's a much more personal and emotional artist than Bis. K has a lot of social/political content in his work. There similarities lie in both being great lyricists, making battle tracks and large vocabularies.

I think K is like a mix of KRS-One, 2 Pac and Canibus. So if you like any of those worth checking for, throw in some Scarface too. Trying to think who else, Nas is another one as far as conceptual songs, Last Emperor for the same reason, Immortal Technique, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Z-Ro, Chuck D, Koo Moe Dee, Wise Intelligent, artists like that. The biggest misconception is he is just a complex battle type rapper, that's completely not true, infact many people feel his best songs are the emotional tracks.

Id say he is more Immortal and Bis' mixed. Theres no doubt that K influenced Canibus. You have to give K more then one listen, when I first heard of him, I didnt really feel him, then he grew on me, now I have most of his albums.

Bun said the Screw sound held da city back.

Said Houston used to be known as a lyrical region. I was waiting for him to mention K-Rino.

What about songs like Holla At Me, Rain and Wind, Long Lost Daddy, Doin Bad etc, I don't think they would make them. I don't think K influenced Canibus, I don't think Canibus knew K-RIno until about 4 ish years ago (that's a guess)

Anyone not listening to K-Rino is missing out cause he's of the best Hip Hop artists ever and he's still releasing quality abums every year. It's arguable he has the years best album in The Maven and TheRAPuetic would probably be high on the list too, even the other album he dropped would probably be in a top 15 ish of the year.

Canibus has been doing this for a long time, a lot longer then people realize. Theres no physical, possible way when Bis' dropped 2000 BC, he diet know of K.
