i wasn't feeling history will absolve me the first time i heard it. decided to give it a real serious listen while on a road trip and god damn dude is on some other shyt. real unique

I know what you mean. I liked it but was put off by how intense it was until like...yesterday. Now it's clicking in an entirely new and profound way.

I'm just not into remedial, Migos ass bojangling shyt at the moment. I'm in need of thought.

Don't be foolish and sleep on Iron Works. The production is handled by "Yanedus" which is Ka and a couple of other cats. He (Ka) produced two songs by himself and was involved with the rest.

Word? I didn't know Ka had a hand in the beats. Played it today and it is aging very well. Children is a moving joint. Mr officer is crazy.

I thought the last album had some nice moments, but overall it struck me as overhyped. This joint right here though... :wow: Son's intellect is shining like a motherfukker. Off 3 listens my favorite tracks are Nothing Is, Peace Akhi, 30 Pieces of Silver, I'm Ready, and Off the Record. Entire joint is beastly though. Also, Roc Marci is probably one of my 15 favorite rappers of all time at this point.

So I watched the video for off the record....I missed OC 'jewelz'

And I know why I missed it.....anyone else always pronounced that album as 'Jew Ellz' like the rapper rather than the actual pronunciation?

Everybody I know did.

Album is :dahell:

And I mean that in the best way.

It's a bit like Roc's jump from Marcberg to Reloaded.

He took the things that were unqiue about Grief Pedigree and just took it another level.
