Crapernick's overall salary will mete out at least a 17 million cap hit. In all likelihood his cap number could reach 20 or so million. As of right now, SF only has 8 million in cap space. They can't afford to pay a QB that much money without releasing or restructing defensive player contracts. Aldon and Crabtree still have to get paid. If I'm a GM I'm licking my lips right now.
