Yeah but again you're forgetting that those Jets teams were built through free agency. These Niner teams have been built through the draft...once Sanchez was asked to pick up the slack a bit, he was horrific.

This ain't about Sanchez. This is about running game/defense vs. QB. Sanchez is just one of numerous examples supporting the running game/defense argument. Unless you are Manning or Brady and now Rodgers (in the playoffs every year regardless of what is going on around you) you have no business making that much money as a QB period. How do you know Kaep will be able to pick up the slack? As I pointed out most QB's even the really good one haven't proven themselves able to pick up that much slack. He didn't exactly set the world on fire his damn self last year individually.

Sanchez doesnt prove anything. Those Jets teams were decent, they weren't winning the division and getting home playoff games. QB's provide franchises long term stability, the ability to replug holes specifically via FA and allows the team to draft the BAP. If you dont have the QB position, your team will always be a question mark.

Kaep doesnt have to pick up any more slack than he has. The Niners have drafted tremendously, which allowed them to keep Kaepernick. The Jets drafted like shyt, asked a shyt QB to pick up a shyt roster and the team turned to shyt.

Great generation QBs, like Manning and Brady and Rodgers provide long term stability. Teams like the Steelers and Ravens and Bucs managed to be stable without top QBs for years. Like you said the Jets slide was all about their roster being shytty not Sanchez. They had no problem winning with Sanchez and thorough D and running game. The 9ers came up not because of their QB (who they tossed in the bushes and kept on moving like nothing had happened) but because they drafted so tremendously all around. If they are able to keep the train moving while paying Kaep like this then more power to them but history is not on their side.

Dude gonna get injured and never be the same, I seen this happen way to often with Qb's like him. His throwing skills already suspect so once someone pops his coochie real nice and puts him on that IR it's over for homie. Hopefully he proves me wrong tho.

The Jets had a good defense every year Sanchez started.

A. I said defense AND running game
B. The 9ers defense is great. If their defense was just good they wouldnt' have mad the playoffs last year.
C. QBs gotta be great not good to even fathom being worth that kind of deal

Their running game was fine. 2012 it kind of sucked...but its not like the Jets couldnt run the ball. Sanchez couldnt stop turning it over.

So you just gonna keep ignoring the totality of what I am saying and focusing on Sanchez? :ld: According to the logic you are espousing he was worth $20 mil a year after the 2010 season. How would you like that? :heh:

The Jets basically gave him 20 mill. And I hated that. Kaepernick is about 10000 times better than Sanchez. And Im focusing on Sanchez because him sucking was the biggest reason the Jets went down instead of up after two champ games.
