TYRONE GA!
The West Coast version of the 90's Buffalo Bills :mjlol:
The NFL is like boxing a lil bit. So if a fanbase takes too many consecutive EPIC loses
They kinda just stay down I.E. The Bills, Cowboys, Pacers, Knicks, Cubs
And now the 49ers :ez: Especially after Seattle came thru..
Started from the bottom now :umad:
You know in your HEART that they are the better team.
Have a better defense while your defense is taking hits all over the place
NOW YOU OVERPAY for an overrated Kap? Alex Smith did more last season with less to work with
I'll just keep that between me and you :mjpls:

Whoa fam....

I'm not a fan of the contract, but it is what it is.

Let's see what happens to RGKnee..... :mjpls:

The Jets basically gave him 20 mill. And I hated that. Kaepernick is about 10000 times better than Sanchez. And Im focusing on Sanchez because him sucking was the biggest reason the Jets went down instead of up after two champ games.

The 9ers experienced similar success with a former bust before Kaep came along so how is he some how more responsible than Sanchez? If you have such an issue with the Sanchez situation why are you encouraging other teams to go down the same path? Kaep is nice and has potential but he ain't exactly perfect himself. Once again paying a QB like this has NEVER led to what the 9ers want which is winning it all. However dropping your QB plugging in a young stud has led them to within a 5yds of winning a SB. :yeshrug:

Because Sanchez at no point showed he was a capable NFL starter. Every single metric pointed to him being terrible. Kaepernick has proven otherwise.

And his team still went to back to back championship games. Are you not understanding my point? :heh:

You're not understanding my point. The chances of going to a title game with that poor QB play is damn near impossible. The Jets had an all time great defense in 2009 and the best running game in football. Duplicating that year after year with a turnover prone QB isn't realistic.

The chances of the 9ers doing what they have done these last two years (even with Kaep reaching his potential) minus their ATG defense and dependable running game isn't realistic. Like I said if they can keep it going then so be it but there is no way a $20 mil raise for your QB doesn't affect the rest of your roster.

If they keep drafting well they'll be fine. The Seahawks had to let a few guys walk and no ones complaining about them: and they still have yet to pay Wilson.

That's pretty key. Imagine how many more guys will have to walk if they give him $20 mil per.
And at least he's got a SB already. :yeshrug:

Right but if they continue to draft well they should be fine. Winning a Super Bowl is also extremely difficult. The Niners being this good for so long now is pretty rare. Harbahgh not havingnf a ring yet doesn't make him less of a coach or Baalke less of a GM.

He's got to hit them tho. And if he does hes worth the money:manny:
The workout bonus is easy money. Like he's going to miss team workouts?
I'll be the first to say it, I would sign up for a $0 year contract if it had a $400,000 workout bonus. Of course, I can't play football good enough to be signed and would be putting in some sad numbers at the combine, but aside from that, I would attend all OTAs and team practices. :lolbron:
