The Sideline 1’s !

I can see the commercial now. He walks out to a crowded stadium as the camera
Pans around to people shouting his name then he takes a knee to tie his shoe and the camera zooms in on them To tie his shoe

So, you're going to deny that Nike is sponsoring Kap? Its either you dont see dude as a revolutionary or you're on board with him being a corporate backed and sponsored revolutionary. No real in between :yeshrug:

1, no part of my post denies the Nike sponsorships he's had a year.

2, my question is this

"corporate backed and sponsored revolutionary"

What does this mean?

He's been compromised? He shouldn't been earning large amounts of money anymore?

It's like our cynicism won't let Kaepernick go too long without being a villian.

Colin has been quiet since 2016...not after the NIKE deal or the settlement.

People are seriously saying he just trolled the NFL last week ignoring ALL THE DETAILS that came out about it including his fukking lawyer telling him not to sign the waiver in order to run the workout

I'm honestly trying to understand

You were questioning why I called him an corporate revolutionary and I brought up Kap's ties to Nike to back up my statement.

So, you're fine with the guy that's all about calling out the system to be backed by an large and powerful enity within the same system hes calling out. Good to know. :ehh:

Dude is a corporate revolutionary :francis: Cats wont call it out though.
and?

Better than sitting on your ass quiet watching shyt happen :francis:

People are always mad at people that TRY because they aren't doing anything themselves and feel insecure about watching someone carry out righteous and selfless acts.

he's not a saint or a revolutionary but he tried and it's more than most of us will ever do in life when it comes to standing up for a cause. He put his career on the line already that's a sacrifice... Him being a corporate whatever doesn't matter, humans will always be hypocrites and I don't look at any man to be infallible or an idol.

MLK was out there banging broads while pushing society forward. No body is perfect, if y'all want perfection start looking for God.

He's supposed to take a vow of poverty?

He's issues were with Police Murders and he stated he didn't vote

I'm searching for the contradiction

Y'all making Colin something he never said he was

That's why I changed my stance on him needing to do a proper interview

He's always had a stance of getting back into pro ball and never hid that

I've had my issues with some of his moves but a lot of the stuff in this thread makes no sense given the reality of what's going

Lebron (I was trying to avoid bringing another man :dame: into this) sign a bilion dollar lifetime deal and he's called "The New Ali" and we've seen the money make him compromise

I don't get it

I supported the bruh when the whole thing went down, but he has been moving funny lately. Allowing his non- black finance to call other black men c00ns and uncle toms, allowing her to be his voice when people wanted to hear his thoughts on subjects. That staged workout that happened last week also, his moves and silence is not looking right to me.
His fiancé is a dime

she gets a pass

As long as some of the money from the profit of these shoes continue to go towards his Know Your Rights campaign and the other various places he's been donating too, I'm cool with it.

Him having a endorsement deal with Nike doesn't deter from the fact that he was/still blackballed for bringing attention to police brutality.

I don’t look at it like that

But it does look strange

:francis:
I guarantee you Jay supports Kaep and his movement to the fullest, I don’t listen to the cac media trying to put them against each other. Only thing Jay might have had a problem with was the workout, but I don’t know how much involvement he had in getting that done so I can’t say. But these following ass nikkas would have you believe they supposed to pick teams like they against each other :mjlol:
