just let sleeping dogs lay breh

ain't no point in arguing with people who concern troll just to troll, to the extent even if they're bringing up solid points it gets over shadowed by the fact they just want to be right or contrarian.

Exactly he putting in work while these fools work they 9-5 then go watch tv all day

Dude is a corporate revolutionary :francis: Cats wont call it out though.

cats calling it out all over this thread and he has major figures on the largest sports media platforms claiming he doesn't want to play football. did he ever claim to be a revolutionary though? he's a guy who took a knee because black men and women are being killed by government sanctioned entities with no repercussions. i'm anti-capitalism, but i don't think he ever claimed to be. the guy is an athlete who got fired from his job for bullshyt reasons and has spent a much larger portion of his networth to try and help the community than most celebrities/athletes.

he's also promoting the message on a mainstream platform as best as possible this way despite blackballing and media blackouts on it. i don't even blame him for not speaking. when he spoke on the 2016 election, his words got twisted. he might be better off served in silence because his enemies will just use it against him.

Hes a millionaire...

and i assume he still has bills to pay. did he ever claim to be mother teresa?

revolutionaries dont shill for corporations. Nike doesn't give a fukk about black ppl anymore than the NFL and employ less black ppl.

did he say he was a revolutionary though or is that a label yall put on him? he's a former super bowl quarterback who lost his job for his political views that i wouldn't even consider revolutionary. they're humane.

To be fair, working class black leaders don’t last long

agreed and he never claimed to be MLK or malcolm either though.

He can make money, I’m sure no one has a problem with that. But there’s a lot of contradictions going on with his actions, his silence on everything, and Nessa & Eric Reid lashing out at everyone on Twitter.

Dudes get overly emotional when discussing Kaep so ima leave it at that
:hubie:

i'm pretty sure he's silent on things because he has more future pending litigation against the NFL. i understand that complaint though, he spoke pretty loud and clear just the other week though. he didn't set any of that up himself, that was on the NFL.

It’s looking strange that’s all

:francis:

if you say so. how should it look though? he can't hire himself, which is clearly what he wants to do.

Using nikkas in this thread ideology they would say 2Pac was a c00n for being signed to Interscope which is a Jewish record label and having a sponsorship with St.Ides

They would shyt on Public Enemy for being distributed by Polygram

They would also call Dead Prez sellouts for being signed to Loud/Sony

Didn't common call ice Cube out on the Hypocrisy of selling malts liquor while promoting a pro black image?

You can do good things and still be a massive hypocrite or a grifter

You'd be the nikka wishing death on common for recording "the bytch in yoo" because you got a homoerotic man crush on cube

He never claimed to be a revolutionary he just used imagery to invoke the memory of the black panther party and tommie smith who really lost everything behind protesting because it looked cool

fair enough.

it's not the only thing he has done though and like i said, i actually think his message is better silent because they spun the shyt out of everything he said during his last NFL season.

I guess folks like the NFL, Stephen A, Whitlock and Wiley made their point. :heh: good job misconstruing the point to get the results they needed.

and?

Better than sitting on your ass quiet watching shyt happen :francis:

People are always mad at people that TRY because they aren't doing anything themselves and feel insecure about watching someone carry out righteous and selfless acts.

he's not a saint or a revolutionary but he tried and it's more than most of us will ever do in life when it comes to standing up for a cause. He put his career on the line already that's a sacrifice... Him being a corporate whatever doesn't matter, humans will always be hypocrites and I don't look at any man to be infallible or an idol.

MLK was out there banging broads while pushing society forward. No body is perfect, if y'all want perfection start looking for God.
