That’s pretty much the reason I’m thinking too. If the case goes to court, it will attract media attention for the whole duration. A loss for Kaep isn’t a victory for the NFL because, Kaep is the underdog. And a victory for Kaep is definitely a blow to the NFL in terms of image. They have enough attention going now where it’s split the fan support.A court loss would make them look worse, even split people down further.
