Wizards should have drafted him. Why oh why did they take Vesley :mad: when this kid impressed in workouts in DC

He wouldn't have developed the way he has, they've had him working on his shot with Chip Engelland from the moment they drafted him. If the Spurs took Vesley he'd probably be hitting 3s by now :laugh:

but the thing is, Kwahi was hitting 3s in workouts. The Wizards didn't believe he could do it in games :damn: yet they take the 7 foot Euro who can't shoot or rebound or do anything offensively...

I wish the Spurs did take Vesley. I WOULD love to see if Pop could do anything with that kid. But I doubt it, he just can't play offense!

Thing about the Spurs system is that they perfectly utilize a player's skill set. If he was turned loose on a less quality organization his flaws might be more exposed.
