At least he’s unintentionally letting you know he HAS faked interest in his music

Yeah that’s what I got from it (not necessarily for Drake just in general)

“I can usually pretend some wack shyt is dope, but this is so bad I couldn’t even do it with a straight face”

:dead:

Drake need to swallow his pride and call this nikka

QM said Drake "ruined his life" and made him think about killing himself.

I don’t think he's picking up the phone for that dude anymore.

I'd argue Drake may be taking more damage from post-battle expectations than during the battle. The lawsuit, conspiracies, Ak and other streamers saying dumb shyt, etc have all conditioned fans to think Drake has some master plan that will destroy Kendrick and UMG. In reality he's about to do what he always does: drop an album full of songs for hoes with a couple "real rap" tracks to satisfy the stans. And that's simply no longer good enough due to the corner he backed himself into. He's the one who has spent months alluding to shyt, dropping hints etc.

The fans would have accepted a typical Drake album if he had simply moved on from the battle and didn't have a ridiculous lawsuit in the mix. Now we're prob hurling towards a scenario where he drops a weak album and gets his lawsuit tossed within the same period of time.

I agree with you about podcasters and streamers being tastemakers in hiphop

But then again………

And that's where Drake kinda fukked himself over a bit, you can't market yourself and hang around all these 20-somethings and then when one of the 20-somethings don't fukk with something you do, then get mad at them for not liking it.

Not all the young people gonna fukk with his music, take the good and the bad.
