I listen to talk radio in Chicago and was shocked to get the F word dropped at 8am by Stephanie Miller(Lesbian radio host)The word is kinda claimed by them BUT like most people here who aren't gay, we don't pay attention to their circles enough to know what they do because its just not our social scene.

Terrestrial radio. I was taken aback by it because she said something like "I'm just a little f**, I guess" in the middle of a joking segment. I did not see it coming and they don't make it a habit, but having worked with LGBTQ people, its not a word they shy away from, but its time and place.

Long ago some black streamers advocated that they should be allowed to say it, and Twitch cleared it.
