Cuz the character roles that the producers were seeking to fill would be stereotypical and obligate buffoonery on the part of the actor. To illustrate look below at one his tweets for a role set aside for an African-American actor. Thats that bullsh!t. That said put yourself in the shoes of an Indian or Pakastani actor looking for work but the only roles are for 7/11 cashiers, IT gurus, terrorists, etc..
