rip -shyt is so sad (why do they hate us)
1) Watch the video, it is BLACK PEOPLE beating on him..."Some say it is the White man I should fear, but it's my own kind doing all the killing here" No truer words have been spoken...

2) The USA has a justice system based on extreme punishment...When I was 14 I was caught shoplifting pornos in South Africa, the security guards beat my asss and locked me in a meat freezer until my dad came to get me (I gave them his number and they called)...He paid a bribe, and I was released...No charges no cases, in that regard I love South Africa...

The USA is just one FCUKED UP country....You have to live in fear all the time...A simple traffic stop for a busted tail light, could mean you are stuck in jail with criminal record that will ruin your life or worse the cop kills you...

I never have those fears living in Canada...

3) It is interesting how the USA is always attacking other countries under the guise of being the "protectors of freedom" and yet they have the HIGHEST incarceration rates of any Western Country (combined, I think)...

4) What is the solution for black people, DON'T BREAK THE LAW..."Be diligent like a nikka on a tight rope"...The law is the law, not only that, you know it is stacked against you by a system with long and proud history of institutional racism...So, if you break the law, DON'T EXPECT ANY MERCY OR JUSTICE...

If Black People start teaching their children this, this will change for the better...

on your first point, it's the majority white system that allowed him to be incarcerated without even being charged whilst guards starved him and beat him. Yes inmates who were black were seen in that one particular video...

I agree about the law breaking issue seeing that the system isn't going to work in blacks favor, especially when it comes to illegal activity.

but i must sit here with a critical eye wondering why you would up this thread out of nowhere while being so aggressive. especially with the reputation you tote around. what is your agenda?

I get your point but it isn't applicable in this case. Kalief didn't commit a crime when he was arrested. He was falsely accused by some dude who said he stole something.

That he was arrested and sent to for 3 years when he didn't do anything is the real crime here. And despite him dying due to the effects of his incarceration, no one is really gonna do anything substantive to ensure that doesn't happen again.

1) Dude had a previous charge...He should have known better, because he dealt with the system before...People need to learn to take full responsibility for their actions...

You can tell by the videos that kid knew how to talk a good one, and he has no concept and understanding of consequences...Especially with the first guard, the guard didn't appear to be the aggressor, he appeared to be a dude doing his job, until some kid started to disrespect him...

When you disrespect somebody, you must assume that he/she is capable of taking it to the limit (death), and thus, prepare yourself for the worst...

2) My agenda is that Humans are moving away from the Principles of Personal Responsibility...It is almost as if people think they can "just have fun out there" with nothing but good consequences, and when the consequences are adverse, then the excuse is "you can't blame me, I am the victim"...

3) The kid is dead. There is nothing more that can be done for him. However, other parents in the USA can use it as an example to teach their children about self-control and self-preservation...

Don't blame the system...Look at yourself and how you can do better, and chances are you will be more than ok...

This is mostly applicable in Western countries...In disorganized countries, the rules of adaptation are different...

He deserves the same amount of national news as Trayvon, Mike Brown and Freddie Grey.

In my opinion he deserves more.

Trayvon was killed by a insane, racist narcissist who took his twisted version of "the law" into his own hands. Mike Brown was some "heat of the moment" shyt performed by one, singular racist. I'm still not sure what exactly happened in the back of that van with Freddie Gray or which a$$hole cop to blame. But this case here? Dude got picked up for a crime he didn't commit, then the ENTIRE SYSTEM conspired to break this man down to nothing. They put a sixteen year old into fukking Rikers, and in solitary for two years. They buried dude at Rikers for so long that he could have just eaten the case and probably got out on time served [which we know is what they wanted]. Then they tossed dude back into the community as a walking fukking time bomb, just ready to explode.

Blaming victims is the answer.:heh:Any Black man who has ever been charged deserves to die? You sound like a square clown.
1) I am NOT blaming the victim. Do you know why flying is so safe? Because They adopted Safety Protocols that did not blame anybody, but examined what went wrong from the pilot, the plane and everybody involved...

They created an environment were most pilots felt safe talking about the mistakes they have made without fear of punishment...

By taking this systemic approach, Flying safety was DRASTICALLY improved...Now many industries e.g. Healthcare are taking a similar approach to minimize nursing and medical errors...

You need to take the same approach with your own life...Most problems are SYSTEMIC, but an individual is part of the system, and if you fix yourself, you have made the world a little better...

You can control yourself...That is NOT blaming the victim...

2) Nobody deserves to die and nobody doesn't deserve...The Universe is neutral...The best you can do is control yourself...

3) Stop making it personal...I am trying to discuss "where do we go from here and how do we get there?" You want to engage in useless rhetoric...

Stop extrapolating to ridiculous conclusions...
