i can already see the can of worms though too.

do you debut him as a heel or a face? what if he's a face but he sucks and the fans boo him anyway? what if people start accusing fans of being hostile simply over his sexuality?

so many 3rd party narratives come into play and i fear it could get ugly. whoever is cast as the first openly gay wrestler, whether he's gay or straight himself, may go down as sort of like a jackie robinson of wrestling.

They have Darren Young and Daria in NXT, theyll say that they're gay/lesbian and not have it as the focus (i hope). Thats all

the best bet would be to reference it in passing without making their sexuality central to the angles that's the only way I see avoiding it becoming offensive

i wouldnt overthink it

they have daria in nxt whos an outed lesbian whos been getting postive reviews on her progression. with the all the call ups in the woman's division my logical guess is her

could also mean patrick clark is going to get a push with his lil b gimmick
