Expound pls. I missing your point how who the VP is impacts the senate make up and Machnin's influence.
Harris is more value in the Senate because she's one more liberal vote that cancels out the Manchin drama. The only issue is having another one to cancel out Sinema.
Democrats need at least 53 liberal Senators to pass stuff without worrying Manchin causing drama.
The crazy part is Manchin almost never a deciding no-vote against a Democratic party priority.
