I will close by giving the protesters and unserious clowns like the green party some advice:
The sooner that they realize that the federal Democrats cannot be shamed into compliance and additionally, the sooner they realize that they are not going to dirty Mack voters away from the Democrats by talking bad about them

But you just admitted that they did! Otherwise, why are you typing this long ass post?
If voters were not "dirty mack'd" away from Kamala, why did she lose?
@Conan
They lost because Trump never lost his 2016 coalition. They only won in 2020 because Trump couldnt help himself and gave off vibes of incompetence and apathy about COVID. people were terrified of COVID and wanted new leadership to navigate the country out of a crisis.
Vibes were the reason they lost in 2024. The Dems perceived stance on inflation, trans shyt, using covid as an excuse to enact "authoritarian rule" (covid misinformation is the greatest psy op in human history), and the border/immigration destroyed any enthusiasm about the Dems. The Dems stance on Israel was the last piece that flattened any excitement in a race where they needed all the good vibes they could get.
And what is the issue with pointing out the flaws in the Democrats? You literally did this in your second paragraph.
The issue is, thats ALL the leading proponents of breaking away from the Dems/Going 3rd party talk about. Look at the most viewed interviews/content coming from notable leftists like Jill Stein, Butch Ware, Briahna Joy Gray, Kshama Sawant. Thats all they talk about. And they offer no real plan, policies or PROGRESS toward enacting leftist policies. Leftists love shytting on the Dems, voicing loudly that theyll never support them (which is fair as the Dems honestly dont want them at the table), but then when its time to build up a third party or get some local wins...its crickets. They cant get out of their way and revel in the "injustice" of it all. Modern politics requires swaying people, emotional appeals in the digital age arent sustainable.

, the quicker they’ll come to the realization that they need real tangible wins to actually change the political landscape in this country.

Yeah, no shyt. It's not just about ending support of an apartheid state. It's about ending corporate influence in our politics. It's about tangible benefits for everyday Americans like healthcare. It's about rebuilding our infrastructure and proofing ourselves against climate change. The list goes on.
Cool. Tell that to Leftists leaders who want to convince people to vote third party. Once again, they have made "stopping the genocide enabled by the FASCIST DEMS" the leading issue of their entire movement, to the point that they are cannabalizing the legitimate politicians who are in their corner like Bernie and AOC . shyt ive already seen comments and sentiment talking about "How will Zohran Mamdani betray the working class?" and he hasnt even been elected yet!
I get the urgency of wanting to make the genocide a issue that sticks and how the Dems are culpable, but they SEVERELY overestimate how much the average American cares and underestimate how entrenched the Dems are with coalitions like Black Americans and White Coastal Liberals. Leftists have almost spent a year victory lapping about Kamala "losing over Israel" and yet to make a compelling argument why these same coalitions shouldve voted for their candidates instead.

No one is going to just support good intentions, third parties need real wins to build momentum. And expressing outrage at the genocide of the Palestinians is not enough! They need to sell a reason for Americans to care! People dying is not enough for Americans to care!

I'm speaking more from the perspective of the Democrats but if the Green Party "spoils" enough elections then a reasonable party will look to adopt some pillars of said party in order to woo some voters over.
This is ignoring the point that if you assigned all Green Party votes to Kamala she still would have lost.
And most importantly, I'll just borrow a phrase of yours
Expressing outrage at Trump's depravity is not enough! They need to sell a reason for Americans to care! People dying because of Trump is not enough for Americans to care!
And this has actually been proven, TWICE!
Agreed in that, the Dems lose even IF you assume their stance on Israel forced a huge part of their 2020 coalition to vote Green or sit out.
What I am effectively saying is that Leftists arent learning the right lessons from 2024.
They are jumping straight to "People stayed home because they want the genocide to end AND THEY WANT FULL AUTOMATED LUXURY GAY SPACE COMMUNISM NOW!" and think they can re-vector the West off of this notion alone, and are conducting a circular firing squad on anyone who says different.
What I am saying is:
They are severely underestimating how much work we have to do even get voters to see a better future, especially a better future that involves expanding the role of govt at all levels. its why I see where Ezra Klein is coming from with"Abundance". Yes, its in many ways a compromised vision due to the influence of anti-regulation backers. But the core conceit is absolutely true. Americans DO NOT see Govt as a viable tool to improve their daily lives.
Its why Project 2025 never registered with the average American as most DO NOT understand the role of govt and how its been a 80 year campaign from the Republicans to destroy it and how they were able to get the public on board by promising to "lower taxes" and cut off "leeches (
) from the spigot".
Ill close by saying its why im excited about Zohran Mamdani. New Yorkers understand, at minimum, that the city makes too much money to not be providing for its citizens. Having a mayor who seems to be about expanding the role of Govt to make the city more viable could be a huge inroads toward a model of governing local politics that Leftists can follow instead of shouting into the void.
