While an anti Trump message may help in Sedgwick County, what Thompson has done in the campaign is mention Trump as infrequently as possible, instead tying Estes to Brownback and focusing on rural economic populism. In order for Thompson to hit 51% in the 4th district, he must win Sedgwick County by eight point
Smart. I don't think we've reached the point where Trump is unpopular with Republican voters yet. Brownback sure as hell is though.
