Hate to say this, but to be fair, beating Brady at this point is cool and kinda noteworthy, but not nearly as much of a celebratory occasion as it coulda been a few years ago ... hell even last year
I can neither hand out too many kudos for beating Brady this year nor get giddy over a Pats loss. This ain’t the year to do that . Feels like the sun is finally setting on an epic era.

Facts, I can't even get hyped for Pats losses, their offense is atrocious.
Fact: Officiating made not one but two mistakes in the 4th quarter, taking away 2 touchdowns.
Fact: Their offense is fukking atrocious and they couldn't over come two bad calls to win, even with their special teams and D shutting down the Chiefs the whole second half.

I actually find myself wanting the Pats to get an OBJ or someone. Even though I don’t like them, as a defensive guy it triggers me to see a great defense wasted, no matter the team.
I feel like even last year, they used a good o-line, a healthy rookie in Sony and put Devlin and Gronk in the tight formation and ran the fukking ball.
No Gronk and no Devlin plus a banged up O line and now they can’t run the ball. Shabby pass protection coupled with no play action means your receivers have to win their battles and everyone is just doubling Edelman.
If they don’t get an OBJ they atleast need Devlin back and a plus blocking tight end plus a full year for the Rookies and Sanu.

Beli was showing why he's the GOAT again though and still scares the shyt out of me in a playoff game with the adjustments he was making. That combined with Mahomes not looking right for a while now and my faith in the Chiefs in the playoffs is waning even as the defense has started performing better.
