And how can anyone call this a "brilliant marketing scheme" ? See, I use to do community organizing and one of the workshops I did was based around being a person of color and how to handle your pride via fundraising. We tend to pride ourselves on not asking for help even when it's needed because we're too prideful, yet, millionaires ask for money all the time to fund their start-ups and whatnot when they have their own funding already.

It's all about how you go about it in my mind. Kanye's a martyr and sympathy seeker. He's really the Rap Macbeth
