LMAO. You got it bro. People gonna see what they want and hear what they want.

and the key word there being IF.... He may be down for a bit but if Yeezy royalties come in for his children and children's children then they're gonna be good off the gamble, but interesting analogy with Phil Ivey. I don't think Ivey would be comparable to Ye's greatness in 2 fields though. Ye's fashion sells out as well as his music since he first dropped them louie shoes and had dudes rockin double polos LMAO

"Ye's greatness" The guy is an accomplished musical artist with lots of acclaim and sales. However "greatness" in fashion? Maybe to 15-year-old pinoids that post on Hypebeast. I love his style myself, but the guy has a long way to go. All of his clothing is whack garbage and the new Yeezys look like Creative Recreations.

Kanye is just synonymous with cool. He is cool. He is the loudmouth rebel who doesn't give a fukk. People will buy whatever that guy has to sell.

And I don't give a shyt if his stuff sells out. The shoe companies profit more off the rest of their products than they do those Kanye sneakers. They intentionally create the scarcity to drive up costs and demand, so who gives a shyt if they sell out. Of course they're gonna sell out.

"Hey may be down for a bit." He's down fifty-fukking-million. fukk outta here. This is a prime example of what Troi Torain aka Star says about hip-hop. A psuedo-culture of babies leading babies. shyt is a joke.

He sounds nuts, and he's sounded that way for a while. It's funny, if you tell him he sounds crazy he'll just say " I'mma misunderstood genius" and it just further feeds his shtick :pachaha:

edit: I shouldn't say "shtick", I don't think this shyt is an act any more, more like it would fuel all of his delusions even more.

yo this dude kanye is hilarious. like i respect the music and the craft but its so painfully obvious everything else hes just doing for publicity/controversy. it sucks because i honestly do think kanye is one of the most important musical acts of the last two decades but when i bring him up among coworkers and certain friends all this twitter/news/bullshyt gets brought up first. never the music.

his music was always flimsy and relied on publicity/controversy/gimmicks. Y'all just seeing the fraud for what it is

He isn't down 53 million. He has 53 million worth of personal debt. He probably stated it that way for a reason.

2 Malibu houses might be like 20,30 million right there. And maybe he took out some million dollar lines of credit to build this brand. Who knows?

I don't know the man. I know he drops good quality music and he has done so for over 10 years now. I know his shoes are always sold out and I know the likes of Anna Wintour would not be at MSG next to Kim K and 20,000 randoms if what this guy is selling isn't something meaningful....

But again, that's the beauty of subjectivity. We all see things different. Don't you have a post where you tell folks to use their God given talent and follow their dreams... This man's dream is just a lot bigger than the average person. At least, that's how I see it... lol, what do i know

I respect Kanye man ... i can relate to being misunderstood creative and having the compassion to want to make the world a better place, yet growing ever more bitter and vain daily... i played the lottery a couple months ago when it was in the billions...and I thought that I would change the world if I won...like on some Venus project sh1t if anyone is familiar but that's a dream and dreams seem delusional to most people who are not designed to see things in a certain manner but that Donda joint man...that's thinking big we all can play a role ....

We must expand our thinking as a species or we might as well be extinct....
Let's choose to evolve
