It's really close, in fact it's probably even but Kanye gets the slight edge from me. He washed Jay on New Day as well. They both got washed by Beyonce on Lift Off. Hov won the rest of the album tho besides maybe Illest N**** Alive.

Hov had the better verse, stop it :rudy:
Arm out the window,
Through the city I maneuver slow
Cock back, snap back
See my cut through the holes

Bruh.. I don't know who wrote Kanye's verses, but he had several classic lines on that album like this.

I was so ready for WTT2. Still am.

I know it's cool to get on Kanye about writers but he always credits people when they help. In this case I just checked the track listing for Otis and the only people credited besides Kanye and Jay are who they sampled from.

Meaning Kanye wrote his Otis verse. In fact most of the tracks are like that.

I preferred Jay-Z this. Kanye held his own on the album though.
Maybe I wasn't clear enough.

I'm asking why so many of you aren't considering the very real possibility that Hov wrote the whole album, given how much we know Hov has ghostwritten in the past and Kanye has used writers.
Because you can clearly hear GOOD Music artists on a lot of these records. Ye's No Church In The Wild is verse clearly penned by Pusha T, Otis is definitely Cyhi, etc.
