I have to say Kendrick's music has never moved me. I'm ashamed to say I agree with Kanye for once. Kanye's music has also been awful for 15 years though lol.

There are a lot of cases of great artists going off their rocker or generally falling off but I'm not sure anyone has done it to this level. He has completely nuked his musical career in a way that goes well beyond "damn that album wasn't good." He can't tour because nobody will insure him after the Pablo fiasco. He can't collab as much because most major label artists are told not to associate with him. And every day he ventures deeper into this weird obsession with engagement and rage bait. Kanye always wielded controversy for attention but he's drifted to the farthest end of that spectrum.
Even after Prince "fell off" he was still selling out massive tours and felt present. Personally I like a lot of his later work but I understand commercially he was in a rut for awhile. Same with a lot of other artists who once super famous. At some point people/fans start calling them weird, the headlines get odd etc but I've never seen anything like this. It's like Marlon Brando times ten.

Brando was weird AF, but he could still pop up and do classic movies, when he wanted to later in his life. I haven't liked anything Kanye's done musically in a million years. Just seems he's hooked on the engagement now and doesn't know how to sit down and work on himself. That need for relevancy got dude spiraling to the point where it's like he doesn't even realize that he can't be taken seriously anymore. Really one of the worst fall off's I think we've seen in music.
