Kanye was a good producer (one of the all-time greats) for a about 18 months.

But all of Kanye's solo albums are trash, the reason being he's a mediocre rapper. Mediocre AT BEST.

2Pac on the other hand brought something new to the game; fusing the social commentary of a Public Enemy with the street tales of an N.W.A.

I don't think you understand, as a kid whos grown up in the suburbs I know............EVERY white kid got into rap either through Gucci, wayne, or em. Mostly em. And vanilla ice is a horrible example, that's like saying that Korean dude with that stupid song that I forgot about, what was it oh gingham style, yea that's like saying he got all the white people into k-pop because he blew up here. No, people just liked that one song. And of course theres gonna be fringe people who get into hip hop before everyone else just like hipsters get into everything before it blows up. But it wasn't till em that 12 year old white kids were listening to rap in Nebraska
