I have no idea what OP is trying to say :mjlol:
Either way ghostwriting in hip hop is terrible. I don't mind if it's a producer like Dre and Ye since their main responsibility is tying everything together. But for someone like Drake it's an insult. Anyone can take someone else's lyrics and sound great cuz theres no real skill in that

or ODB because ya know...he's ODB

He's the artist so he may give the ok but the engineer is the one really creating the melodies and what not thru vocal tuning
Thugga's music is more collaborative than anything

I havent heard any of Thug's music outside of what ive heard on the radio so ill concede to your opinion, but i think you're giving the engineer too much credit. Young Thug is KNOWN for his melodic singing. Thats his trademark. Are u saying that he isn't even coming up with that? He may get ideas thrown his way, but i doubt the engineer is really the "artist"

Eazy, Dre & Puff.

Kanye had the star power of Eazy, the artistic credibility of Dre & changed the game and had it on lock like Puff. But none of it was possible if not for those 3. People never wanted to give Kanye his props as an "MC" most still don't. It's only when he dropped at least 3 big albums - popular and artistic in 4 years with the last with few features did people give him that credit.

Ghostwritten lyrics never helped Puff. He couldn't deliver or properly flow ghostwritten lyrics for nothing. I'd lump Kanye in that category too. It's the two things that have always held Kanye back. Dr. Dre has one of the best deliveries and even the way he flows lyrics that are ghostwritten, he completely owns it from a performance stand point.

The only reason I frown upon Drake using ghostwriters is because he was genuinely being considered as a GOAT candidate and even considering himself one.
I don't like Kanye either, but Drake is the biggest rapper currently hence why there is a lot more complaints.

Dre/Puff etc were never going to be considered GOATS anyway and they don't really claim such a thing so it doesn't bother me.

If I found out any of my top 5 used ghostwriter (With SOLID evidence like Drake's reference tracks) then they'd fall from my top 5, but it wouldn't make me stop listening to their music because I enjoy it.

I'm sure it's the same case for most people. I don't care if people enjoy his music but they can't be up there.
