wayne in his prime is way better rapper obviously but wayne was never an amazing rapper to me and has released so many mediocre/trash projects. Wayne was only great for about a 2 or 3 year period for me.
always thought the same, his flow isn't great and it wasn't until yeezus where he seemed to have found a sound that complimented his style and approach. But if he's trying to go the traditional hiphop approach then I'm not trynna hear it half the time, its just not for him

You need to elaborate when you make claims like that. When I think of Kanye West, I think:
- Best discography in the game
- Amazing live performer
- Great flow and unique voice
- Diverse lyrical content (he's rapped about everything there is to talk about)
- Larger than life mic presence (outshined Jay-Z on WTT. Jay-Z )
- Most experimental "A-List" rapper
- His songs have quotables for days.
- His interviews have quotables for days
- Can hop on ANY kind of track and sound good (hip hop, pop, trap, drill, whatever Yeezus was, etc)
Obviously everything i said subjective, we all got our opinions. But to say he's one of the worst rappers that people consider great? Nah, you're talking crazy.

Yeah his rapping isnt what makes him an Hip Hop icon. Dude is among the GOAT live performers, GOAT music video libraries, and dude just knows how to make epic music.
