So, this is the measure of an albums success now?

no this is obviously what he was going for and failed. seriously, half the album produced by daft punk? :childplease:

you fukking idiots have no idea how large my musical sprectrum is, ranging from music most of you fukking idiots have never even heard of (from bands like cold world, to godspeed! you black emperor, to some frank zappa, and all the way to the goddess sade herself) you can catch me bumping the based god right after spinning some guwop. i'm really into everything.

i even enjoy electronic acts like prefuse 73 and justice, but this shyt is garbage. sorry stans.

Ditch the crates, keep your musicians and explore
even more genre's but keep it Hip Hop !
Prefuse73 is Hip Hop @91til

Listen to his old shyt, show me any rapper who doesn't reinvent his sound and who follows some pattern who didn't fall the fukk off and lose all interest after a few year in the games?

Unlike people like Jay-z who has 1000 flows, rhyme schemes etc or Nas who has a million things to talk about. Kanye is a producer so naturally his biggest changes will be in production/overall sound.

And I don't know where the fukk you dudes are getting "euro" from, rock and electronic samples were hiphop far before soul if I got the message clear. And not only were they hiphop before soul, they are genres largely created by black people. If Kanye would've listened to someone saying the shyt you are saying now back in 99, he would never be on that soul shyt. not drop BP, CD, BE, LR and all these classics.

Don't forget that Funk was sampled early on too....
A lot of popular beat breaks come from Funk and Rock.

on sight? i am a god? new slaves? i'm in it? blood on the leaves? send it up?

just because you don't venture outside of bars that are still playing i'm a boss on repeat, doesn't mean kanye wasn't obviously grasping for a wide electronic, house, and industrial feel. sampling beanie man? are you serious. he wants this shyt to be played in europe, the islands, the south, up north, and anywhere in between.

we both have very different ideas of what is typically meant by the term "club track" :lupe:

The sound of alot of dance/electronic music in todays mainstream is based on euro dance/trance, not so much disco or chicago house/detroit techno, there is alot of truth to that idea.

Basically, it's kind off a shame, seeing as there's so much Soulful Dance music out here. That compliments R&B and Hip-Hop stylings so much better.

But heh, whatever, most of this artist don't know any better
