I wanna see where ye goes with his next album, but his lack of output lately is disturbing. maybe he's not interested in music anymore. which is strange, cuz if he's not putting out music, no one is gonna pay attention to his other interest like fashion, art and clothing.

i dont think Kanye is really on the music tip right now. He is actually getting a lot of respect from the High Fashion scene now. They are actually giving him props from turning Kim K from a instagram model to a Vogue cover.

When you have a big ass radio promo tour hyping an album and no songs are leak for real and you produce something as bad and off putting to the public as Yeezus it's hard to garner the same public interest next time around

I think if he gave people what they wanted - another Graduation or Dark Fantasy type record - he'd do well. Instead he's basically doing what everyone else is doing, which goes against the appeal he once had of being different.

Damn a lot of yall are making great points. I still support Kanye even though he married a Kardashian. I agree his music is trying to compete with the sound a lot of the younger acts are doing but Ye has always done sounds that reflected the hot sound of the time, 808 heart break was mostly auto tune when that was being whored out left and right. But Jay does that shyt too, I love Jay-z but he gets no pass doing the sounds that younger cats do to make his music more appealing.


I wanted to get Yeezus, based off the SNL performances of Black Skinhead & New Slaves, but never got around to it. I was surprised to see it not do as well but it is what it is. I hope this is all just hype to get his next one more in demand. Like everyone else i want the Kanye from ten years ago to resurface. But he's a different person than 10 years ago. He's got the Kardashian's on his team now...

Silly poster....Kanye has never put music out that reflects current trends or even upcoming trends. What albums from it's time or since have sounded like WTT outside of maybe BP3? MBDTF sounds much different from most mainstream rap.
