It's a hard listen. Sometimes it feels like he's on the verge of making a great point and then the landing is off because he goes on tangents.

Yeah, I agree here. In the interview the part that got leaked, he would make a claim or say something and then not go into depth. Kinda like he heard the talking point from someone else and is just parroting the talking point. Rather than going into depth and explaining what he's trying to say.His brain is all over the place. This is like a ADHD conversation.
Probably cuz you can rerecord a song multiple times before releasing it and ask for feedback from others. Interviews are face-to-face.
