If you really think the characters in the political landscape (the politicians, media figures, and the people) are adhering to the same social norms of 20-30 years ago, I don’t know what to tell you.
The loonies on the right (Trump, Hershel Walker, Majorie Taylor, Candace Owens etc) wouldnt have been taken seriously in a George HW Bush Republican Party.
Not because of their politics, but because of their clownish behavior, lack of decency and shame.
Ironically, I would argue that this race to the bottom started with George W Bush. Someone the father didn’t want running in the first place.

This is deliberate bullshyt. We need this guy to go away for a year or 2 and take his mental health serious. Come back and be the face of redemption and taking your meds. Show the world what its like to heal, instead of trying to kill everyone as your ship sinks.
