Nah it’s kinda like how history can say Christopher Columbus is a great explorer and did things worth celebrating regarding history here in USA and for Europeans but gloss over how he took land native people already occupied and played a role in their demise.
I think Kanye is trying to look at history and hitler from a different lens..... one that isn’t from a Jewish POV
I don’t think he is trying to say let’s forget what bad things hitler did or make light of it, (we all know he was a bad man morally) but historically let’s also look at what he was good at (like how skilled of a speaker he was for example) how he accomplished so much and how he did it.
Nobody is trying to be the “new hitler” or co-sign promote his actions, but I think many people and even academic institutions do study Hitler and see what characteristics/tactics made him a successful leader to so many people.
When his analysis buttresses negative opinions and jokes about jews, your critique falls incomplete. People can connect the dots.

There may be a time and place to assess how hitler acquired his power and wielded it, but it is not when its surrounded by negativity towards the jewish community because people can connect the dots between not liking jews and saying hitler was an effective leader as more than being an academic conversation about the attributes of a politician/leader

Yes from the perspective of the poster I quoted vis a vis kanye. My point was that someone cant claim to want a discussion on Hitler's attributes and Hitler's attributes alone while simultaneously denigrating jews and act like that doesnt play a role in his opinion from an academic standpoint
I'm in no way defending kanye or touting any qualities of hitler for what it's worth. There are ways to make the argument about people kanye was seemingly trying to make without bringing hitler into it and its clear he brought hitler into it because of his opinions of jewish people
