Iirc Hitler blamed Jews for that black presence in Rhineland. Had french occupied that area with white soldiers would've been war/business as usual, but this wa too much for them. KKK and US segregation clearly played a big role (Nazis said that themselves iirc) but they had homegrown influences too obviously. First genocide of the 20th century was commited by pre-Nazi Germany in Namibia and there had pogroms all over Eastern Europe for centuries.
