It's hilarious that some "brehs" seem to think that Hitler somehow didn't hate Black people. The Schwarze Schande ("Black Shame"), when the french army posted african soldiers in occupied Rhineland played a major role in the rise of extemism/nationalism/racism that would eventually form the basis to nazism. Iirc Hitler blamed Jews for that black presence in Rhineland. Had french occupied that area with white soldiers would've been war/business as usual, but this wa too much for them. Also obviously black people themselves were targetted by Nazi persecution/genocide and ended up in concentration and death camps.

Nah it’s kinda like how history can say Christopher Columbus is a great explorer and did things worth celebrating regarding history here in USA and for Europeans but gloss over how he took land native people already occupied and played a role in their demise.

I think Kanye is trying to look at history and hitler from a different lens..... one that isn’t from a Jewish POV

I don’t think he is trying to say let’s forget what bad things hitler did or make light of it, (we all know he was a bad man morally) but historically let’s also look at what he was good at (like how skilled of a speaker he was for example) how he accomplished so much and how he did it.

Nobody is trying to be the “new hitler” or co-sign promote his actions, but I think many people and even academic institutions do study Hitler and see what characteristics/tactics made him a successful leader to so many people.

Kanye is not looking at anything In a deep way. He is off the deep end, he is upset about many things and he's running around with known racists. If he wants to talk about Hitler, fine but when you're hanging out with white supremacists and acting a fool, you aren't to be taken seriously on any of his so called points how "hitler did good things".
