I was just talking about that bootleg tape with the Ol Dirty track the other dayBruh, these rollouts are objectively terrible and proof that Kanye does not respect his fans. He knows that they'll eat the shyt up regardless and allow him to keep pump faking release dates and poorly organized listening events
This is coming from someone who downloaded the College Dropout bootleg months before the final version dropped

They must have bought the stem playerWhere y’all listening to this at?

As far as the rollouts, he's got this new modern era of alpha hypebeasts willing to sop up anything in the form of gruel and have them claiming it to be Michelin star dining. Kanye studied Kaufman and became the most insufferable a$$hole on the planet, and became even more famous when he leaned into being the world's richest troll
The craziest thing is I think he knows he's peaked creatively and realizes this is how he keeps his brand on top

That era has really special meaning in my life, especially this album and specifically Through the Wire. The Dirt McGirt era LOL
In some ways I preferred the bootleg College Dropout with that joint, the OG Home, and Family Business and Never Let Me Down without the replayed samples - to the retail release. I played the shyt out of that bootleg that whole summer (2003), crazy how it leaked so far ahead of the album, which dropped in Feb 2004 I think
That was a moment brehs
