The whole point of the stem player album was that th fans could "finsih" the album off themselves by editing it/remixing it/re mastering it, etc.

Yes they would. If they have the stem player then they have the stems and they could just mute the elements of the beat and remix the track's acapella with their own beat or sample the beat from the stem player and remix it.
