Say what?

Do you realize the circumstances of slavery?

That slaves were born to slave parents and grew up in complete fear, surrounded by violence and murder and things words can't explain...?

I pray you're not black, if you are - you seem to be interested in history, please try to dive deeper into racism before saying someone like Kanye West who said slavery was a choice is right.

Come on..

Gaspar Yanga, Nat Turner, John Horse and Toussaint Louverture along with many others thought it was a choice

I don’t fault the majority my ancestors for not having that mindset, they wanted the path of least resistance in a torturous existence but still:francis:

The first slave in this country was owned by a black man named Anthony Johnson. He wasn’t subject to any of the sh*t you just said and went to court to fight for his freedom (and lost).

Funny how inmates are slaves but nobody gives a sh*t about freeing them mostly because the majority of us (all races) feel they deserve their punishment.

I mean he’s technically right.

Gaspar Yanga, John Horse and Toussaint Louverture wanted freedom for their people and they went out and took that shyt:francis:.

Meanwhile we had to wait for the cacs and they still hang that bs over our heads that it was cac Union soldiers that saved us
You do know there were a bunch of slave revolts here? They're not celebrated or spoke of.

Wish someone would shut him the fukk up. It's embarrassing and disgraceful. Coming just a couple weeks after Kevin Hart told black people not to hold Starbucks accountable for Jim Crow practices occuring in one (many?) of their stores, this episode only bolsters the argument that black celebrities forget what it means to be black once that check is cut. fukk any black person that spends another dollar on this fakkit. :francis:

You said he was right like there wasn't push back against slavery by our Ancestors. Like we lay down and just took this shyt.

There were varying degrees of rebellion. Rebellion aint just getting weapons n killing, rebellion can be as simple as teaching yourself to read when slaves werent allowed to. Or working less as hard as a group.

Some people was physical slaves they whole lives but dreamed of freedom, making them mentally free.

People acting like runaway slaves weren't a thing. I guess there were never any bounty hunters either.

I also find it funny that kanye sees himself as Nat Turner when not too long ago he was caught holding a plate of ribs for an old cac. Koonye would have been a house negro lusting after the plantation wife

Was insecure as fukk over his slut wife threatening to have her ex cut from a team he had no control over but he’s would be Harriet Tubman. fukk off. :heh: Go let another gay cac fashion designer pat you on the head again fukking c00n

I got his point. The "headline" is what gets peoples attention but the greater point of mental"conditioning" is valid. Slave owners couldn't have been successful if physical force was their only tool. They had to mentally condition us to accept those conditions in order to maintain power.

Who conditioned them to think they were better and deserved to mistreat others?
