You wonder why you don't see his features on classic albums, on ANY of his following (trash) albums to reoccur again. A-list rappers who worked with him are all like: ":dame: The dark side ain't missing you, we sure as hell ain't either, have fun in that Kartrashian Sunken Place p*ssy.
Call us when you go back to remembering you're Kanye, and not Koonye".

.:yeshrug:
Kanye been in that sunken place for a minute.

And @9th Street agreed, he has pushed the culture off the cliff. From the Trump cosign to the blonde dyed hair, to the kardashians to his fukking clothing line to donating money to kids in teh calabasas while kids in chicago get nothing to wanting to make an album in Wyomassichussettes, Iowa....this Negropean is lost.

I'm so confused by this track
This is sonic c00nery :dahell:

It's time to put that bytch nikka Kanye in the bushes. :camby:

But this is what confuses me about Kanye stans: if you were into the c00nery in College Dropout, why would you be mad about it now?

It's not like Kanye suddenly became a c00n. He BEEN a c00n. Whether it's real life or persona. That's his appeal. The safe negro who is concerned with high fashion and everything white. From day zero. So why act surprised now? :mindblown:

It wasn't as blatant back then. He made tracks like Through the wire & school spirit and Jesus Walks and was flowing over them soul samples.:wow:
I guess it was just Rhymefest,GLC and Consequence writing his shyt cause this new shyt is pure c00nery buffonery :scusthov:

it wasn't as blatant but it was always there. I can't remember the specific c00nery because Ye's music is forgettable as fukk for the most part. He was always Diddy 2.0. Rapping about clothes and cars White people had and you couldn't afford. and some dude is gonna quote me like "[insert respected rapper with actual classics] did that" but it's not the same as forcing prep wear on the public. Dude came in the game on some Carlton Banks shyt. Why would anyone be surprised by subsequent c00nery? :yeshrug:

That's why I laugh at breh's attempt to rewrite Ye as some hood rapper who appealed to the streets. Cmon nikka! We were there! :laff:

my first thought is "cool story", but even if this is true, so what? One street dude is not the entirety of street dudes and street nikkas is not = the entirety of the streets.

The Jay-Z cosign was the only reason Kanye's debut was tolerated among the street. I'm generalizing, but the attitude was "aight, we'll give him a listen cuz Jay said so." Not "yo... this dude got that HEAT"

Thats the same thing though, the Jay-z cosign, and Rocafella track record definitley gave him life in the streets....but the streets was fukking with that first album heavy:wow:...he was still relateable as a black man in america at that point as a rapper, and he was good at doing that through his wittiness as a emcee....he flat out doesnt have a clue nowadays though, and depending on how deep the ghostwriting shyt was maybe he never did:martin:

stop it.

The streets/hardcore hip hop crowd have never been into Kanye West like that. If the streets were into him so heavy, how come it took him till Cant Tell Me Nothin before he had a legitimate street anthem? And that's because he hooked up with Toomp and Jeezy, who actually had the streets.

I said the streets fukked with the album, which is undeniable:sas1:....theres a distinct different between nikkas fukking with that album and kanye being nikkas favorite rapper,or him "having the streets".....i never said or would never say Kanye had the streets:heh:.
