i feel bad and kinda corny blaming it on the kardashians but yo... his streak of predictible, fake-deep, boringness really lines up with right around the time he wifed kim k. im deadass that the kardashian influence had him washed the fukk out. his new video is a try-hard fake edgy glorified Balmain advertisement. we all know hes better than this.
its like north korea.. in some cities instead of actually having an infrastructure and giving people electricity, they just make it look like - to the outside world -that they do. like their subway system where no trains even run.
instead of making dope, new, creative / surprising music and visuals, hes just kinda making it look like he is through "different" co-signs and collabs, and hype. he's capable of doing it for real though, but he isnt. and no amount of DeBarge guest spots or black & white videos of his wife in couture is gonna change that. musically hes fell the fukk off
yeah, the sneakers are dope and him doing what he wants in the fashion world and even breaking down barriors to get in that world is cool too..but musicially he should wait until hes inspired again to give us an album or go back to making beats and maybe overseeing some other artists projects. its disappointing

Like DONDA. what does donda do? He wants it to be like Samsung or some media conglomerate...but all I've seen from them is 90 screenprinted hoodies and graphic design covers.
He works with so many other artists and oroducers but eventually puts his name on all of that work as if he was responsible for all of it.
Keep in mind...this was the same man who made five beats a day a summer...for three summers. He is a skilled individual...but ultimately conflicted.
