Hip hop has plenty of good energy

There’s no good energy coming from a person that thinks slavery is a choice and Trump is king

Begs the question though... Let's say the album Kanye drops is good. Really good. What would the general consensus be then? Do they support a guy that supports Trump, and let bygones be bygones cause the music is fire? Or, do people stick to their guns and not listen to the album because he's done enough? :jbhmm:

And if people do decide to listen... What does that mean, going forward? Wouldn't this just mean that Kanye's now validated to do and say whatever he wants, knowing people will go listen to his album anyway? :patrice:

I mean it's no secret that social media is fickle and switches up on people everyday, but... The internet was really going hard on Ye. I just can't help but wonder what kind of direction this is all gonna go in if the album drops and he actually delivers fire.

A “gospel” album is all a marketing ploy so he can’t be criticized

Kinda like how no one booed when someone sang gospel at the Apollo

It’s also going to get people to check it out and see if Kanye has been remorseful for the past year

This is guaranteed to flop and it won’t boost his image

Listening to the Yandhi leaks....sure while most tracks were rough around the edges, Alien, Law of Attraction (Chakras), 80, etc we’re amazing enough to build the album around. Scrapping it after putting in all this work, is tragic...especially guys who worked on the project alongside him only to see their work/time wasted.

If JIK isn’t better than what Yandhi was turning out to be....he’s finished as an artist. He can craft beats and oversee projects with the best of anyone.

His Indecisiveness, inability to stick with theme, etc....IMO he’s run out of things to say, and he’s not talented enough to recycle stuff he’s already done.

Still a great producer. Recognizes talent (Gesafelstein, Arca, countless others), put people in position to be successful, plays to the strengths of other producers/musicians. As an artist, he’s at the end.
