He's finished. People have grown tired of the act/antics. The second guessing himself, lack of self-esteem, little to no faith in music hes creating......why should anyone anticipate it, when he's not even sure he can deliver?

At this point in his career.....a Kanye West album, doesn't mean its ground breaking, or even good. Plenty of other acts out there to listen too....its just a question of whether they want to put in the work. If Kendrick, or Drake, or Jay-Z dropped a new album.....Kanye would get knocked down a few notches to the back burner...where right now.....he belongs.

I heard that he had always finished albums up until the very last minute. And that the only thing that meant ‘finished’ was deadlines. But back in the day, he would be a lot further on when this would happen. The lyrics would at least have been finished properly long Inn advance.

The new way of releasing music has over complicated things for creators.
Before the album had to be turned in by a set date because it needed to be ready for CD/Cassette.
Now you can literally finish the album an hour before it's due to come out.
Hell Kanye was still updating mixes on TLOP 6 months after the release
