I find Kanye West to be just a disgusting individual, who isn't worth a stream or a click, though I have him a few, to just be able to have an informed opinion. I am embarrassed to have even stream this on Apple Music in the privacy of my home.
This album, and his religious conversion would be sickening, if not so hilarious, and hilarious were it not so on the nose. Kanye West, wanted to be humble, and pure, and away from it all, so he reinvented himself as Jesus Christ himself. This album, minor musical moments of a nice beat or a cool sample aside, is an SNL skit come to life, the most grandiose and self righteous manifestation yet.
This album has the egomaniacal persona of a third rate James Bond villian, (think Jonathan Pryce in Tomorrow Never Dies) which Kanye more and more closer resembles, a deranged socialite, unspeakably awfully dressed with an army of henchmen, in matching shoes, to do his bidding, dangerous political beliefs, the album lacks even the soul of the 1999 Kirk Franklin and Puff Daddy collab "Best Friend", and fails to live up to that low bar.
