You don't have to sit here and mindlessly repeat his dumb mantras and try to pass it off like his shytty albums are social movements like dude down here...
This album thread 22 pages meanwhile Pete Rock is putting out the best production in 2019 and the album thread for Statue of Limitations is only 2 pages
Man... Im a Ye fan with day one. Life of Pablo tour in GA was one of the best concert experiences I'll ever have and I go to a ton of shows.
I remember streaming Jesus walks on my parents dial up and waiting for the leak of LR like a fiend.
This album is fukkin terrible.
If Ye really became born again.. Good for him, but Im not buying it off this album. Feels like a gimick through and through. I'm not religious at all but respect those who truly believe. This shyt reeks of exploiting religion to try to ride a wave. Kinda disgusting honestly.
On top of that, musically this shyt sucks. Half baked ideas next to songs that should have been left on the floor.
Technically this is awful. I've heard better mixing from Soundcloud rappers.
The Yahndi leak had a bunch of unfinished good ideas and it seems like he cut over half of those.. And then took the other potential winners and made them worse

The main problem with the album is that there's no direction. If you going to do a gospel album, take a look at exhibit A:
- Had a good selection of gospel artists who blessed the album (I mean LEGIT gospel artists)
- Had a reasonable share of rapping
- Good flow of worship, gospel hip hop, and inspirational jawns

The think about Kanye is he creates songs and a mix unlike any other artist. With Kanye you always get the unexpected and the music is always creative even if it’s not your taste.

On God seems blasphemous to me. When you glorify yourself you make yourself your own God. Not sure how authentic his Christianity is, between that and the prices of his merchandise. Its not for me to judge but i am suppose to be able to discern as a Christian
On the other hand Kanye had as much pride as one could possibly have. He still has more to learn but so do i. He spent more time glorifying God then he did himself. The name of the album glorifies God, hes come a long ways. He also went from living a lifestyle of lust and porn addiction to being a devoted husband and father thats actually preaching to the youth to save themselves for marriage. That may be something most laugh at but compared to the over sexualized mainstream garbage its refreshing to hear Kanye encourage sexual purity. How many of us would rather see our daughters save themselves for marriage as opposed to knowing there getting passed around amongst the younger brehs?
