Ran thru the album for the first time a min ago. Was also the last.
I’m gonna check this out. But in the same vein that snoop dogg reggae phase was trash!
And I think people judge Kanye by an extremely high standard
He’d have to drop another illmatic for people to not hate
The think about Kanye is he creates songs and a mix unlike any other artist. With Kanye you always get the unexpected and the music is always creative even if it’s not your taste.
To all the people hating I bet you’ll go out an listen to the next project he releases soon as it drops
I actually liked that reggae album. But yeah, it's beyond that album because Snoop actually plays the background for the superior artists to shine. Most of the album feels like a compliation, instead of a typical Snoop album. It was really dope and wild slept on last year. Back to Ye, I'm kinda open minded with Kanye despite him being such a fukkhead. His Ye album was probably one of my top albums of last year. The issue with Ye is that dude just on a trying to reinvent the wheel tip in a industry that doesn't bang with soulful beats anymore
. The fact that he's still got a huge following good and bad speaks volumes to the overall fact that he's a fukkhead. Kanye doesn't need a "Illmatic" type of album, but at least go back to what made him amazing to begin with. On some real shyt, we got a bunch of new records at the job and I stumbled upon The College Dropout and I thought to myself...I miss the old Kanye

Facts. This really a dope album to me. Off 3 listens it feels good pause
